SIG Hierarchical Namespaces
Objective
The SIG aims to design and deliver robust, optionally enforceable hierarchical namespaces as first-class citizens in Rucio. We will strengthen and formalise hierarchy enforcement, eliminate inconsistencies around the use of / in DIDs by overhauling affected APIs, policies, and workflows. Our objective is to make hierarchical namespaces easy to adopt without disrupting existing deployments.
Expected End-Date
April 2027
